Hintlesham Hall Hotel is a four-red star property in Suffolk, famed for its elegant Georgian features and its exquisite dining. Like many luxury country house hotels, accommodation sales had been constant, but attracting local non-resident diners into the property had proven challenging.
The hotel was looking for a way to engage with affluent individuals within close proximity to the property, and communicate the benefits of dining for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea.
Using The Engagement Method strategy, we targeted local, affluent residents via Facebook, Instagram and email with beautifully crafted videography and photography we had produced, focusing on the stunning food. Eight videos and countless images were created, all offering something different to the user and truly bringing the quality of the dining to life.
Having combined the local targeting with the video posting, Instagram was the best performing channel, seeing a 416% increase in engagement and a clear spike in restaurant bookings at the same time, with afternoon tea performing the best.
